Terms of Service

When you create an account with us, you must provide us with information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

CareerAdvance serves multiple user types including Job Seekers, Employers, Students, and Administrators. Each user type has specific rights and responsibilities outlined below.

• Job Seekers: May create profiles, upload resumes, apply to jobs, and use career tools. You agree that all information provided is accurate and represents your genuine qualifications.
• Employers: May post job listings, review candidates, schedule interviews, and use HRMS features. You agree that all job postings are for legitimate positions and comply with employment laws.
• All Users: Must not use the platform for spam, harassment, discrimination, or any unlawful purpose.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Career Advance Inc. and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Canada and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Career Advance Inc.

Content you upload (resumes, job postings, company profiles) remains your intellectual property. By uploading content, you grant CareerAdvance a non-exclusive license to display and process that content solely for the purpose of providing our services.

CareerAdvance uses artificial intelligence to provide features including but not limited to: resume building, job matching, candidate scoring, interview scheduling, and career path planning.

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content and recommendations are provided as suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use.

AI matching scores and candidate rankings are based on algorithmic analysis and should be used as one of several factors in hiring or application decisions.

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Career Advance Inc.

Career Advance Inc. has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Career Advance Inc. shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your dashboard.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Certain features of CareerAdvance require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our Pricing page.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy. Contact our support team for any billing disputes.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
